These past couple weeks have been hard on me, being sick and having family emergencies.On a good note my sister decided to come home for a while. While I love educational toys I see my nephew and I know it was a last minute thing so they really didn't bring anything but he seems content without the educational toys He has his legos and his books and some animals with him and he is happy. And he has his Mickey Mouse Clubhouse. I personal think toys are a good learning thing. Flashcards and computer games is what she teaches him with. I don't see what the big deal with using an educational

I know I said I love educational toys. BUT my daughter fell in love with this pocket size etch-a-stech. She was allowed to pick something out from have some testing done and what not. She was very good.She loves this thing. And the best thing about it is the size. We took it to the doctors with us and we were both playing with it today and when she went to shake it to clear it WATCH out she is dangerous.

I have to give credit to who ever came up with toys. They are a lifesaver and they put kids to sleep in the car. Just make sure you have batteries and they work. Took the kids in the car for about 30-45 mins and I MADE sure to take toys with me. My youngest yelled at me playing the stereo because she couldn't hear the toy. Hey as long as she was being good I wasn't going to complain. By the time we got to where we needed to be they were sleeping. On the way home they played with the toys and both toys were learning toys.

My youngest daughter just turned 3 on Monday and you would think her attention span would be very short I have seen her sit and play with the same toy over and over for hours and hours. I think if you got the right toy that fit the child(ren) needs they would be content and then your money would be well spent. I have bought my girls a Wii over a year ago and I think it is the best investment I ever made, Yes the games are a little pricey but it works with hep

My youngest daughter spend time with her aunt and when she came home she had a new toy with her. I'm thinking just what I need another toy for the girls to fight and argue over. She comes and shows me her computer that she had brought home. Her older sister got up and got her some batteries (just because she wanted to play with it). They started out sharing and taking turns but then it happened. She got mad at her sister and wanted her toy back and it was a war zone. I'm glad the toy is something that she will benefit from and use but

I cleaned the kids room today and I realized that they have a bunch of little "stupid" toys that they may never play with again. They may get them out once in a while. But why spend a lot of money on toys that they are just gonna be like whatever with in a few weeks with? Why not get them something that they can enjoy and learn from and you won't care if the sit and play with it for hours. I know that my kids have toys that I can't wait for the batteries  to die in them that way I don't have to listen to them again. But then my youngest has a toy that she loves to play with and she has learned so much I don't mind putting batteries in that. I know it sounds awful but if she is gonna learn then I'm gonna
